Im The Sound Guy.

I'm a sound guy,

I have 4 hours from load in time to show.

I'm setting up a system that I have never used before, where if one cable is wrong the entire system does not work.

In a Shopping Mall.

With a digital sound board.

With a Wireless in-ear monitor system I have never used.That won’t send signal.

With a Million questions be asked directly at me.

A Band that hasn't practiced in 5 Days.

With 240volts ready to blow all the equipment at any moment.

And to Top it all off, I cant speak the language.

Welcome to Turkey.

Day 3

Practice... no no no.. MORE PRACTICE!!!

I almost feel sorry for the band, for how much they need to Practice. But they need to learn 16 songs in 2 days...... hmm.
Hey, im just the sound tech, ive been hanging with Clay the videographer, and filming with him. He Is Cool. I set up the practice sound system on Friday, and everything runs fine, so, im not really needed. Which is ok, because i know that when i get to Turkey, I will Be on Overload.

All Is well, Thanks For Prayers, and support. Ill keep this Blog updated the best i Can.

Heading out!!

Well I can't believe I am saying this but in 4 hours we are heading out. We are spending the weekend in Ontario practicing in a secluded place but on Monday we will be heading out to Turkey. We just want to thank so much all the people and churches who have supported us financially, and in prayer. We have been overwhelmed by the power of prayer through this experience as well as just how much God sustains us and our every need. We feel such peace about the fact that God has brought in the amount of money he has. Thank you all so much for your sacrificial giving.
If I can ask one more prayer request before leaving:
1) Please pray for us and our families - peace in our hearts as we travel and are away for quite a while.
2) No distractions or complications to stress us out - just use your imagination.
3) The people of Turkey would be prepared.
4) Our love for one ourselves, one another, and God would shine through to show the love of Jesus Christ.

Have a very meaningful Easter weekend and thank you all so much. We hope our next update comes straight from Turkey!

New show announced!

Hey there everyone,
As we prepare for this trip less than three weeks away, we are so excited to announce another fundraising show in Mount Forest! Thank you so much to Pastor Harry and Elizabeth for allowing us to come. Hopefully we can be a huge blessing to you!

Im Just The Sound Tech

We Have been touring southern Ontario with this band that we put together. Pip Our Drummer is singing/acoustic, Andrew our percussionist is playing drums, And Myself the Sound Tech, An Playing Electric, and Singing.

The Team Is crazy Talented on many different areas. So talented we can form another band within our band to play other shows, to raise support so that we can play in another band which is a form of the same band. make sense?

Last weekend March 19th, was amazing. I discovered so much about myself, and those around me. I bonded with the team so well. And They are quickly turning into my best friends.
Yesterday being my birthday, I realized, that nothing stops. We anticipate things for so long, that when they come we don't enjoy them.

This past weekend I re-discovered my Love for music. And decided that I want music to be a part of my Life forever. (no desk jobs for me)

We raised so much support. Many THANKS go out to my Home Church of ECC Ridgetown, Thanks to all for the Hospitality and Love that You Showed.

My Name is ... WhAT!

Hi, My Name is Nick Pegg, And I Run Sound boards, and cables..... to produce sound with desired tones and notes, for the pleasure of players, and listeners. My job is the most important in the entire team. Without me, its very quiet. well, except for the drums.... cuz drums, well.// you know.. drums. (yes, I have a bit of an ego when it comes to sound.. not that im the best at running sound systems, but i take credit for being the most important.. and musicians need me. AHAHAH (evil Laugh))

I feel the need to serve. My entire life i have never considered doing anything but serving God. This is one of my first steps in doing that. I consider myself a radical.. meaning.... I do crazy things, for a rush. I Think, if I can do crazy things for God, i would discover that same rush.

I Love Music, i Love Playing Music, and working with the electronics that surround music, and make music what it is today.
